If you run digital products across multiple markets, you've faced this argument:

Central says: "We need consistency. One codebase. One experience. One team. Local variations create fragmentation, cost, and chaos."

Local says: "Our market is different. Our customers have different needs. Our regulations require specific features. One-size-fits-all won't work here."

Both are right. Both are incomplete. And the companies that succeed are the ones who figure out what belongs where.
