Right now, you're probably switching between the terminal and your file explorer to check what Claude built. Open file, look at it, go back to terminal, ask for a change, switch back to the file.

There's a better way. Set up your screen so you can see Claude Code and your project at the same time. This one change makes the whole experience feel different.

Split Your Screen

The setup is simple: terminal on one side, something else on the other.

Windows:

  1. Click on the terminal window
  2. Press Windows key + Left Arrow to snap it to the left half
  3. Click on your browser or file explorer
  4. Press Windows key + Right Arrow to snap it to the right half
